Justice and the Challenges of the Contemporary World

The project focuses on the philosophical reflection on justice and the challenges of the contemporary world from the perspective of Christian-oriented philosophy. It addresses social inequalities, poverty, the concentration of economic and political power, contemporary forms of slavery, and questions of war and peace. It examines what requirements for the organization of society follow from human dignity, freedom, and the common good. Particular attention is given to solidarity, subsidiarity, the protection of the vulnerable, and the responsibility of individuals and institutions. In dialogue with contemporary philosophical theories, it seeks criteria for assessing injustice and possibilities for a more just form of coexistence.

Beyond the Algorithm: Natural, Artificial, and Supernatural Intelligence

With collaboration with and support of KERATIV EU

This project creates a focused research forum for clarifying what "intelligence" means across three domains: biological cognition, AI systems, and supernatural intellect (God, angels, grace, illumination). It explains and compares the explanatory standards used in cognitive science, philosophy, computer science, and philosophical theology, looking for both genuine analogies and category mistakes. The goal is to produce a coherent conceptual map that can support conference panels, student involvement, and publishable outputs.

The project is developed in collaboration with the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (USB, Czechia) and Trnava University in Trnava (Slovakia).
